Soulmates, Twin flames & Karmic relationships

 

Often in tarot readings we use these three terms- soulmates, Twin flames & Karmics. But what do these mean and how do you know what type of relationship you have?


 SOULMATES

Lets begin with soulmates. To understand soulmates, you first need to understand what is a soul family. A soul family is a group of souls who have come to the earth to fulfill the same or  similar kind of purpose. 

 In more practical terms, soulmates are people who you feel instantly connected with, you feel they are very similar to you. You have similar hobbies, interest or even jobs. But remember soulmates aren't always your future spouse/partner. A Soulmate can even be your best friend or your family member. Infact, you may be surprised to know how many people have soulmates as best friends or siblings. It is a very common thing to observe.

Also, you have more than one soulmate (Remember soulfamily? ).So what does that mean? It means there are lots of  people in this world you can connect with and potentially be with, as you have more than one soulmate. 

What are soulmate relationships like? 

Soulmate relationships are very harmonious and peaceful. They often end up in marriage and are the most stable amongst the three kinds of connections that we will talk about today. 

  TWIN FLAMES

Twin flames are a very controversial topic, many tarot readers have conflicting opinions on them. Here, I will try to give you my personal views on twin flames relationships & what they mean to me as a tarot reader. 

Twin flames are quite the opposite of soulmates. They are people who are world's apart from each other but still somehow are attracted to each other and come together in relationships. 

Now remember, being in a twin flame relationship isn't always bad. Twin flames relationship, if HEALTHY enough can be a breeding ground for personal improvement & growth.  They can help partners grow by learning from each other. They can complement each other like yin and yang.  But this requires patience and acceptance, which frankly, most humans aren't very good at. 

However, through years of experience, I can say that most  twin flame relationships are unstable and  not practically viable. It doesn't mean you should breakup if you are in a twin flame relationship. It just means ,  you need to brace yourselves up for a roller coaster ride of emotions and heartbreaks followed by periods of intense happiness , only to be back to being lonely & depressed again. It all quite makes sense if you think about it- your twin flame is not like you. Being with someone whose goals and personality is opposite of you can be very triggering and frustrating for most people. 

Another aspect of twin flame relationships is Narcissism. A lot of people in twin flame relationships are actually partnered with a narcissist. This is because Narcissists attract their twin flames like moths are drawn to fire. More on this later. 

                                                           

   KARMICS

Everything that remains after soulmates & twin flames is simply karmic. Most of the relationships in real life are actually Karmic relationships. Karmics make good partners, if not the best. 

From a spiritual POV, the idea behind karmic relationships is that the two of you made an agreement before your souls entered this lifetime, to help each other on your respective paths.A karmic relationship is a relationship meant to facilitate the lessons we need to learn in this lifetime surrounding love and partnership.These relationships teach you lessons and point you in the right direction.In this way, karmic relationships are like guides or teachers. And usually, they're temporary.But usually they are not intended to last a long time. This is because you are coming together in this life to clear karma between each other. It's often a balancing out of a bad experience from a past life.
