Healing Crystals for 7 Major Chakras

In this article, I will describe my favorite crystals to heal different chakras.

I will also describe how crystals heal chakras and explain why I use a particular stone for a particular chakra. 

How crystals heal chakra?

Crystals are stones which emit light of a particular wavelength. Different visible wavelengths of light affect our conscious and subconscious in different ways. They subtly influence our subconscious mind and affect how we experience and see the world. As you can see, chakras are nothing but concentrated energy sources which helps us to interact with the world a certain way. By modifying how we  experience the auras & world around us, crystals help in healing and soothing of the blocked chakras. 

Remember not every kind of crystal or stone can help in healing of a chakra. Crystal of only a particular wavelength will help in healing of a certain specific chakra.

1. CLEAR QUARTZ FOR CROWN CHAKRA

I want  you to think how you  feel when look at your own reflection inside a clear water body like a pond or a lake? How does it make you feel? It makes you feel calm , serene and  gives you clarity of the mind, right? It is because looking at a transparent clear surface like water or transparent ice heals our crown chakra.

Clear quartz is a completely transparent, water like crystal.It looks like someone took some clear water and froze it. As you know there is problem with higher conscience and spiritual intelligence in crown chakra. . That's is why , when you look at clear quartz, it's wavelength arouses the energies related to the clarity of the subconscious mind .  The name says it all -  clear quartz! 

 Another interesting fact, clear quartz is also used by tarot readers before performing a new tarot reading to clear up the energies from the previous reading. Makes sense right!

                                                       










     2. LAPIZ  LAZULI FOR THIRD EYE CHAKRA. 

Have you even been on a ship? Or have you even seen a big sea or ocean? How do you feel when you look at that vast stretch of blueness?  It makes you wonder, what lies beyond ! Am I right? You wonder how far that sea goes, where it must lead. You realise how small you are in this vast world, and how little you know , of a world so big.  

Lapiz lazuli is a beautiful blue crystal which mimics the wavelength of the sea. It looks like a part of the ocean was picked and poured inside a stone. As you know , third eye chakra is concerned with intuition and knowing the unknown. Looking & mediating with lapiz lazuli evokes the energies of curiosity and arouses intuition. And that is how lapiz lazuli heals the third eye chakra.

                                                             










   3. AMETHYST FOR THROAT CHAKRA

 Have you ever seen a purple flash of lightning running through the sky ? Looking at purple wavelengths  like a  lightening thunder will immediately make your energies more open, bold and self confident.  Purple is the wavelength of boldness. It catches the eye and makes a statement. It says- " I speak my truth loud and clear and I am not afraid to do so".

Amethyst is an eye popping mystical purple crystal. Throat chakra if impaired causes difficulty in self expression & communication. Amethyst crystal by evoking energies related to boldness and confidence, helps to open up and heal a blocked throat chakra

                                                       












     4. ROSE QUARTZ FOR HEART CHAKRA
     

What wavelength does come to your mind first when you think of love & innocence ? What energies you experience when you look and smell pink roses or smell sweet cotton candy clouds ? You feel elated, carefree, happy & romantic.

Rose quartz is a graceful clear pink crystal. It opens up & heals the heart chakra. It raises the vibrations  and arouses the energies related to  trust and being able to give and  experience unconditional love.

   5.  CITRINE FOR SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA.

Think of a day in your garden, full of sunflowers and marigolds, sun shining on your face in all its glory. What energies do you feel? You feel happy, like an innocent child. You want to jump around, frolicking and catching yellow butterflies. 

Citrine is a shimmering & charming yellow stone. As a blocked solar plexus is concerned with low self esteem and confidence, citrine by mimicking the wavelengths of sunshine heals and soothes a blocked solar plexus chakra.

   
 


                                                             




  6.  CARNELIAN FOR SACRAL CHAKRA

What is the most seductive & beautiful wavelength of all? It's undoubtedly the red. Red wavelength evokes energies of pleasure, creativity, celebration & happiness. 

Carnelian is a stunning red crystal with different wavelengths of red. As a blocked sacral chakra is concerned with depression, boredom and lack of creativity,  carnelian by emitting red wavelengths raises the low vibrations and heals and soothes a blocked sacral chakra.

 8.  TIGER EYE FOR ROOT  CHAKRA

Tiger eye is an exquisite brownstone with some wavelengths of black. It exactly mimics the energies evoked by  looking at a tiger's skin.  As blocked root chakra is concerned with feeling financial instability,  insecurity and inability to focus, a tiger's eye stone by arousing these energies heals & soothes a blocked root chakra.
