Fractals & Spirituality

 

A fractal is any geometrical structure that has detail on all scales of magnification.A fractal is a never-ending pattern. Fractals are infinitely complex patterns that are self-similar across different scales. They are created by repeating a simple process over and over in an ongoing feedback loop. Driven by recursion, fractals are images of dynamic systems – the pictures of Chaos


Mandelbrot created the first-ever "theory of roughness", and he saw "roughness" in the shapes of mountains, coastlines and river basins; the structures of plants, blood vessels and lungs; the clustering of galaxies. Mandelbrot emphasized the use of fractals as realistic and useful models for describing many "rough" phenomena in the real world. He concluded that "real roughness is often fractal and can be measured."

A Mandelbrot Set is a diagram of a mathematical equation. The equation is: Z = Z 2 + C. You insert a number into the equation, and the equation computes it to a new number. Then you start the equation all over again with the new number.

You can see fractals in nature. A snowflake for example; the pattern repeats over and over again on a smaller scale like a fractal. In a fern you can see the overall shape is repeated in the branches, and in the leaves. Or a tree or rows of trees, flowers and clouds. Clouds may appear very random, but there's some sort of fractal pattern appearing if you look at it that way. If you observe a row of trees or bushes, the pattern is repeated in the tree itself and then in the branches and then the individual leaves and so on.The universe is a fractal made of fractals.

Fractal science can be similarly applied to spirituality as to the physical world. Like I said, since you are natural, and fractals are the structure of nature, you are fractals too.

  

Human attention is an electric fractal, and focused on something, it compresses the electric charge of that thing. This explains how shamans cure people or make clouds rain. Doing what you love recreates your aura into a fractal and thus fuels its energy. We are chaos, and we will organize into a fractal community using our newfound knowledge in the spirituality of fractals.
